Rockstar Games has named six of Grand Theft Auto VI's radio stations. It announced them on Oct. 8 with their hosts and a short description of each, and it says the full lineup is the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio in the series. No tracklists have been published.

Everything below comes from Rockstar's Newswire post and its new GTA 6 music page, which plays a short preview of every station. When the game is out on Nov. 19, we'll add each station's songs here.

Rockstar introduces these as "six of the stations featured in Grand Theft Auto VI," so there are more to come. Its post says the lineup runs from Classic Rock to Talk Radio, but neither of those stations has a name yet.

Cocoteo FM

Rockstar calls Cocoteo FM Leonida's home for the best of modern Latin music. El Martillo and La Gata host it, and it plays everything from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton. Its line on the music page ends in Spanish: "El party que nunca se apaga," roughly, the party that never stops. Cocoteo FM in the library.

Back Country Radio

MW and Delta Dawne blast renegade country music to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond, according to Rockstar, which bills the station as "airboat-ready." Back Country Radio also has a roving reporter, Mud Dog Mike, a swamp meteorologist who checks in from the driver's seat of his Grassrivers airboat. Rockstar describes him as Delta's "not-so-secret lover." Back Country Radio in the library.

AfroBank FM

Burna and Palmsy are AfroBank FM's "dynamic duo," in Rockstar's words, picking the best in African music: 20th-century classics, undiscovered gems and newer sounds like amapiano and 3-step. The music page's line for the station is "Turn up the gbedu." AfroBank FM in the library.

The Chamber 106.6

"Crushing metal has landed in Leonida," Rockstar says. DJ Kerry and DJ Tom play classic metal from the '80s and beyond on The Chamber 106.6, channeling what Rockstar calls Leonida's "deep metal roots." It is the only one of the six with a frequency in its name. The Chamber 106.6 in the library.

Flash FM

Rockstar calls Flash FM "the Vice City institution" for pop music. Robyn and Alex host it, and Rockstar promises it will make you dance wherever you are in the Goodtime State. Longtime players will know the name: Flash FM was the pop station in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002. Flash FM in the library.

Dirty South Classics

Trick and Trina bring "a little southern hospitality" to Dirty South Classics, playing regional rap and hip-hop classics. "From the beach to the block," Rockstar says, nobody reps Leonida and the South like they do. Dirty South Classics in the library.

Podcasts, a first for the series

GTA 6 has a series of on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia to listen to beyond Leonida's radio, Rockstar says, and it is the first GTA to have them. Rockstar has not named any of the podcasts or their hosts.

Listening on foot

Radio and podcasts both play in vehicles and on foot. Rockstar says Jason and Lucia listen through "newly introduced headphones and earbuds" connected to their smartphones, so the music doesn't have to stop when you leave the car.

The Album and the radio

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack made with Atlantic Records, has 34 original tracks and comes out Nov. 19. Six singles are out now. Rockstar has not said whether any of The Album's songs play on the in-game radio. The singles, vinyl and CD editions are in our soundtrack guide.

What we don't know yet

  • The songs. No station's tracklist has been published.
  • The other stations, including the Classic Rock and Talk Radio stations Rockstar mentions.
  • The podcasts, their names and their hosts.
  • The dynamic score. Rockstar says details are coming, along with more singles from The Album.

Any station list or tracklist you see beyond what's on this page did not come from Rockstar. Our confirmed-facts ledger tracks what is official, and our "Is it true?" page checks the claims going around.
