Jason Duval
One of GTA 6's two playable leads. An Army veteran raised around grifters, Jason now works for drug runners in the Leonida Keys and wants an easier life.
“Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder.”
Jason grew up around grifters, then served in the Army. In Rockstar's official profile he is working for local drug runners in the Leonida Keys and hoping for an easier life.
His arrangement with Brian Heder is part of that: Brian lets Jason live on his property rent-free in exchange for help with shakedowns. Cal Hampton, another of Brian's associates, is Jason's friend.
Jason shares the lead with Lucia Caminos. IGN's preview says players can swap between the two at almost any time, and Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, told IGN that their relationship is optional to nurture: "It's not something that we want to foist upon players."
The Ultimate Edition adds an engraved version of Jason's Girardi ES9 pistol, mods for his Vapid Ganado pickup, and a choice of safehouse vehicle.
