GTA 6 collector's edition: what's in Rockstar's Goodtime State box (game sold separately)

The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection, Rockstar's GTA 6 collector's box, is merchandise, not the game. It holds a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley sunglasses and a Leonida map poster, and arrives Nov. 19.

The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection, the Grand Theft Auto VI collector's box that Rockstar Games announced on Sept. 24, is all merchandise: a 6-inch Macca the Gator figure, Oakley sunglasses, a souvenir poster with the Leonida map and eight more items. It does not include the game, and Rockstar's announcement says so directly: "Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately."

Rockstar calls the box "a premium Grand Theft Auto VI collectible set" and says it arrives Nov. 19, the day GTA 6 launches. VICE reported its price as $399.99, but the Rockstar Store page did not show a price from where we checked it.

What's in the box

Rockstar lists 11 items, and each one carries a character, a place or the game's logo. Here is how Rockstar's GTA 6 site describes them:

Macca the Gator and Chunkee the Manatee

Rockstar's announcement says the collection is inspired by "Leonida's hit TV show, Macca the Gator," and its site calls Macca the show's character, so the name belongs to both the show and its gator star. Two items carry Macca himself: the figure, which has a stash compartment, and the magnetic mirror. The poster's front shows characters from the show, and Rockstar's list ends: "All brought to you by Macca and his wetland friends." Rockstar has not said whether the show can be watched in the game.

In the game itself, the Ultimate Edition's Goodtime Gear is apparel inspired by Macca, whom Rockstar's site calls "the Goodtime State's hit TV show character." It is one of 16 Ultimate Edition items and is not part of the box.

The shot glass carries Chunkee the Manatee, who also appears, smoking a cigar, in the collection's artwork. Rockstar has not said whether Chunkee is on the show or in the game.

Vice City, the Leonida Keys and the map poster

Five items are named for places. The crossbody bag, the enamel pin set and the sticker pack are named for the Leonida Keys, the island chain that is one of the six regions on Rockstar's official site. The swizzle spoon and the razor blade keychain are named for Vice City, which Rockstar calls "the sun and fun capital of America." The snapback carries Vice City and Leonida embroidery too.

The double-sided souvenir poster has characters from the TV show on the front and, Rockstar's site says, "a full view of the Leonida map" on the back. For the places Rockstar has named so far, see our Leonida map and our map guide.

Leonida is the state where GTA 6 is set. Rockstar's merchandise text calls it "the Goodtime State," the name on the box.

Not a game edition

GTA 6 comes in two editions: Standard, at $79.99 in the US, and Ultimate, at $99.99. The collector's box is neither. None of the 11 items on its list is a game code or an in-game item, so anyone who wants to play needs to buy the game too. Our guide to GTA 6 prices and editions compares the two editions and the Vintage Vice City Pack that comes with pre-orders, and Is it true? answers whether the collector's edition includes the game.

Price, pre-orders and regions

The only price so far comes from the press. VICE reported $399.99 on Sept. 24 and said the number was shown on the Rockstar Store. When we checked the store page on Sept. 30 and again on Oct. 8, it showed no price from our region, so the $399.99 is press-reported, not confirmed on Rockstar's own page. We have not verified a price in any other currency.

Pre-orders opened Sept. 24 on store.rockstargames.com, while supplies last, and Rockstar gives Nov. 19 as the arrival date. For Asia, Latin America and Australia, its announcement says only to "stay tuned" for details. Rockstar also says more apparel and collectibles from its Grand Theft Auto VI Collection are coming to the Rockstar Store.

GTA 6 launches the same day; our countdown runs to the start of Nov. 19 in your time zone. Our confirmed-facts ledger lists everything Rockstar has confirmed so far.

Update log

  • Oct. 8, 2026: We corrected the contents section. Rockstar's site ties all 11 items to the game's world, including the snapback (Vice City and Leonida embroidery) and the sticker pack (named for the Leonida Keys); we had said two items had no theme. Rockstar's announcement also names the TV show, Macca the Gator, which we had said was unnamed. We added Rockstar's description of each item, including the Leonida map on the back of the poster, and our Oct. 8 check of the store page.
