Alligator

Alligators are part of GTA 6's wildlife. Rockstar's description of the Grassrivers wetlands mentions gators, and Game Informer names alligators among Leonida's more than 170 species.

Rockstar Games

Rockstar's official page for Grassrivers, Leonida's wetlands region, describes it as home to gators, deadlier predators and strange discoveries in the mangroves. Game Informer's cover story, published Sept. 29, 2026, also names alligators among the more than 170 animal species in the state.

Game Informer reports that certain animals are categorized as Rare, Discoverable or Legendary. Rockstar has not said which animals fall into those categories or what the deadlier predators in Grassrivers are.

Our report on Game Informer's cover story covers the rest of what is known about Leonida's wildlife.
